We were on a roll with taking our Body by Vi shakes twice a day... yet with every good works comes challenges. In this case the challenge was finances! I ended the school year right along with our grant once again. My bestie and I were once again, practicing our patience in employment. Naldo and I were going to sign under El with Evey, yet finances couldn't allow me to spend that $107.00. It was sad, yet I have developed a side that needs to look at the positive side of challenges and obstacles and transfer them in to opportunities. I have had the opportunity from this one week challenge to develop meals that are healthy and continue to snack on my veggies and consume drinking fruit drinks. I am not 100% in to giving up so other foods, yet I am making positive changes that have allowed me to see the difference.
I am going to keep you posted on the outcome of our family in committing themselves to make a change for their health. For one now we take it day by day : )

Day 6 Going Smooth...
Still committed to taking 2 shakes a day and a regular meal for dinner. I've been getting up late these past few days like @11am. I'm feeling like I want results now. I still haven't weighed myself, so I really don't know how to measure my progression and a lil successes. Tomorrow I will definitely go out to purchase a scale to weigh myself daily. I have FAITH in this Challenge, yet lately I've been tested and somewhat discouraged with the Challenge. How am I able to share with others my experiences if I don't know them for myself?
I'm not out and about like I was used to, because of no work and the end of the school year. I need to keep myself busy, still looking at options. Energy level is not a hyped as the beginning, feeling tired... Praying for better days...

How was my DAY 1 CHALLENGE?
I was excited to using the new blender to blend my shakes! In a couple of hours I was getting hungry looking for healthy snacks. I was snacking on 5 left over carrots in the Veggie drawer. I needed to go 99 cent store to snack up. I bought carrots, celery, wheat bread, cucumbers, cantaloupe, and zip loc bags. I immediately came home to divide and portion the snacks. I snacked on celery sticks and peanut butter, right after my LUNCH Shake. My brother El went out to but whole grain crackers and albacore tuna cans for tomorrows snacking.
Dinner finally arrived with a Food Menu. I cooked baked chicken, asparagus, and a salad. My brothers and I ate like we were starving, yet my stomach felt like I over ate. I drank a cup of hot herbal raspberry tea after to soothe my tummy. The first day didn't seem too bad or traumatic. I can concur that we SURVIVED! It's all about mentality, commitment, and especially prayer to our Father. Philippians 4:13!

Not really liking what I'm seeing, so it's time for me to MAKE that CHANGE!
Right now I am weighing at almost 400 lbs. Maybe I'm at 400 already. Don't have a weight scale, but I'll weigh myself ASAP!
Day 1
Woke up at 10:00am to drink my first shake with my brothers Do and El. We drank it with berries and almond milk. It was YUMMY!
ALL for ONE and ONE for ALL! We getting healthy together as a AIGA!
