I was excited to using the new blender to blend my shakes! In a couple of hours I was getting hungry looking for healthy snacks. I was snacking on 5 left over carrots in the Veggie drawer. I needed to go 99 cent store to snack up. I bought carrots, celery, wheat bread, cucumbers, cantaloupe, and zip loc bags. I immediately came home to divide and portion the snacks. I snacked on celery sticks and peanut butter, right after my LUNCH Shake. My brother El went out to but whole grain crackers and albacore tuna cans for tomorrows snacking.
Dinner finally arrived with a Food Menu. I cooked baked chicken, asparagus, and a salad. My brothers and I ate like we were starving, yet my stomach felt like I over ate. I drank a cup of hot herbal raspberry tea after to soothe my tummy. The first day didn't seem too bad or traumatic. I can concur that we SURVIVED! It's all about mentality, commitment, and especially prayer to our Father. Philippians 4:13!
